DOCUMENTARY AND HISTORICAL FILMS

Our passions in life: filmmaking and history. Whether we're working on a documentary about the Emancipation Proclamation,  Michigan's State Capitol (which is amazing if you haven't been), an exhibit film for a museum, or acquiring oral histories, we absolutely excel in the historical film/video genre. We love all kinds of history, too: American, company's, personal history/experience, people, cars, architecture, stories!

History and filmmaking. Yup, that's us!

MARK IV: LEGEND OF LE MANS

It's one of racing's legendary stories and we had a blast creating this one. This film features motorsport icons Dan Gurney, AJ Foyt, Carroll Shelby and Mose Nowland. Sit back and enjoy the story of how Ford Power dominated the French Classic at Le Mans. (Over 1-million views on YouTube too!)

UNITED IN FREEDOM: THE EMANCIPATION PROCLAMATION FILM

This film was created in partnership with The Henry Ford and the National Archives. Nearly 22,000 people from all walks of life peacefully waited in line for up to 8 hours to get a glimpse of one of America's most venerable documents.

RIVER RAISIN LEGACY PROJECT

Our award-winning DocuShort that tells the story of how ordinary people can change their community, the environment and perceptions about how people can affect environmental change.

THE 1965 LOTUS-FORD: JIMMY CLARK STORY

We teamed up with our good friends at The Henry Ford and created this great DocuShort about the legendary 1965 Victory at Indianapolis. Special thanks to Matt Anderson, Sir Jackie Stewart and Dario Fanchitti.

GOLDENROD: 1965 LAND SPEED RECORD SETTER

Imagine the sound and power of single Hemi V-8 engine. Now, imagine the sound of four under one hood! This is the story of Summers Brothers famed Goldenrod. For nearly 45 years, this was the fastest automobile of its kind (not jet-powered) on the planet.

DAN GURNEY TRIBUTE: RENAISSANCE MAN OF MOTOR SPORTS

Narrated by MSNBC's Brian Williams, this film features racing legends, Dan Gurney, Carroll Shelby, Jim Hall and Bobby Unser. A tribute to Dan Gurney: driver, owner, engineer, manufacturer, legend.

ROSA PARKS: UNCOMMON COURAGE

A short film honoring the First Lady of Civil Rights during the nation's first National Day of Courage (Detroit, Michigan).

42: JACKIE ROBINSON BREAKS THE COLOR BARRIER

Created in 2007, "42" is on permanent display at Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation (With Liberty & Justice For All exhibit). Hosted by Hall of Fame Broadcaster, Ernie Harwell, this film features: Gates "Gator" Brown, Jim Price and Curtis Granderson, with special appearances by Sharon Robinson.
